The 85th Academy Awards

2013 Oscars Host Seth MacFarlane.
Every female journalist woke up monday morning with an easy article to write, and that was how to criticize Seth McFarlane's Oscar performance as this years host.  I have read article after article about how he was sexist, misogynist, and of bad taste.  How could they be more far off.  He was a host.  He kept the viewers focused and had his audience laughing without a boring moment.  This is just my opinion but was did he really do that bad of a job?  I think the answer is no.  Many MacFarlane haters are going straight to twitter to find others who frowned upon his performance.  The only problem is that anyone can publish anything on twitter it doesn't matter if your TMZ writer or some pregnant afternoon preschool teacher.  (See Example)

The producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron knew exactly what they were doing when choosing MacFarlane to host the awards show.  They were trying to reach as many demographics as they could, while still trying to put together the best show possible.  I had been convinced that Seth would be a good host ever since he hosted Saturday Night Live at the beginning of this season. MacFarlane wasn't going to hold back on the biggest night of the year... he sang, danced, and was constantly on point.  People shouldn't take nights like last night for granted before the Academy gets James Franco to host again...

Other notes on last night.
1. Kristen Stewart had a huge limp and never ceases to amaze me on how she always looks like she doesn't give a fuck about anything.
2. Quentin Tarantino loves his blow.
3. I almost forgot who Daniel Radcliffe was.
